I'm Spuukighost, and I'm a queer freelance artist based in the UK with a BA (Hons) in Comic and Concept Art. I like to draw character art and use a vibrant array of colours in my work. I specialise in character design and concept art, and I like to make illustrations as well. I'm currently looking for work and I'm available for remote freelance and contract.

Breakdown: Full body front and back view of the character, profile shot, details, accessory and clothing highlights, and one or three character doodles.
The more complex the character/sheet, the higher the price.
Character doodles are free.
All reference sheets will look like the examples below, I will not draw them in any other style.Please make it clear to me what exactly you want on the sheet during the inquiry process so I can price it correctly.
It is preferred that you give me ideas for the character doodles in your inquiry or during the process. (e.g. tell me a little bit about the character and what they do.)

Note: This is NOT a design commission. You must have a solid design for me to work with. I will charge a fee for incomplete designs.

Breakdown: 3-7 sheets of iteration sketches including first ideas, finalized ideas, and colour palettes before landing on a design choice. A full-body front-to-back view render of the design will be drawn up as the final deliverable. (Not a full reference sheet)

Note: I have bad visualisation so images and visual reference where possible is highly preferable than written words, but I am able to work with both.
Body Pillow
Dakimakura-style body pillow art.
Intended for personal usage only. You may use it to turn it into a physical item if you desire, but you are prohibited from selling it as a product in any way.
Extra characters cost 40% of the original price, up to 2 characters per image.
If an outfit change is wanted for the character, the design must be provided to me by the client.

General Rules & Information:
I accept commissions via a case by case basis. I open slots for a set amount of time and confirm any that I am happy to work on for the client. First come first served does not apply and slot placements are not set by the time you applied.Not getting a slot does not necessarily mean I do not want to work on your request, I accept slots based on what I feel like drawing at that period and what I am able to make in that timeframe, so anyone is able to try and apply for a slot again the next time I open commissions.I am not obligated to accept your commission and I have the right to refuse any request I am uncomfortable with for any reason. I will not tolerate any rude behavior over not being eligible for a slot.Due to account rules, the client MUST be aged 18 or over to commission me even if their request is safe to view for all ages. I will ignore and block any requests from minors. I will take necessary action if I discover the client is lying about their age throughout the commission.Nothing made by me may be used in any blockchain-related technology, including NFTS, cryptocurrency, or any future inventions in the space. I will take necessary action if my work is being used in this way.Nothing made by me may be used in any way to train artificial intelligence or contribute to the usage of such. I will take necessary action if my work is being used in this way.For reference sheet/design commissions, the client MUST explain exactly what they want in much detail as possible so it's easier for me to charge and so I can work towards something I know the client will be happy with. If left blank or with barely any detail, your request may be declined automatically.Please only message me if it's about the commission. I will not respond to chitchat for my own personal comfort. Alongside this, if the client is rude, disrespectful, or makes me uncomfortable during the commission process, I reserve the right to issue a refund and refuse to work with them.
Payment:
I usually only work on one commission at a time, going down my waitlist in order, so I will only contact the client about payment when I am ready to work on their commission. I will give out a notification in advance when I plan on contacting the client for payment.In the meantime, if the client ever decides they wish to cancel the commission, please let me know before I contact you. After any payments are made, the client is no longer allowed to make any requests to cancel. I do not accept refunds and all payments are final.If the client is unable to fully pay by the time I contact them but is still interested in the commission, I will skip over to the next slot in the list and come back once it’s their turn again, or at a specific date if they request. If the client is still unable to pay by the time I make the second round, their slot will be removed and the commission will be canceled.I will not begin working until full payment is received through PayPal invoice only. The client is not allowed to pay in installments and must pay fully at the start of the commission.I can provide various sketches and make any changes during the beginning of the commission for free. Any changes requested after I start working on the lineart will cost extra.For character/outfit designs, any design changes requested after I start working on the final deliverable (turnaround or reference sheet) will cost extra.
Turnaround:
After submitting an inquiry form, I usually take 2-5 days to respond with a confirmation email detailing where you are on my waitlist and with a link to my Discord so you can view your slot in the commission board channels. If you do not receive this email within a week, this means your application has not been accepted and I do not want to work on your request as of now. You may attempt to submit again the next time I open new slots.All communication will take place through email, so please make sure notifications are turned on and my email is not in the junk folder. I will only message the backup contact method if I cannot reach you through email.I usually work on orders one at a time, going down my waitlist in order, meaning I will not work on your request or contact you about payment until you are next on the list. You can use my Discord to see where you are on the waitlist and see how progress is doing.I do not have a set schedule for updates, but I will keep in contact with new progress as much as I can.For general artwork, I will update you with 'sketches, finished line art, and the final piece,' including any revisions that may be needed. If you require any additional updates including these, please let me know as you are placing your order.For designs, I will update you with '3-7 sheets of iteration sketches including first ideas, finalized ideas, and colour palettes before landing on a design choice.' A full-body front-to-back view render of the design will be drawn up as the final deliverable, and I will update you throughout the process of this as well. (Not a full reference sheet unless stated otherwise)Depending on my workload in life/the commission order, the turnaround estimate for general artwork is currently from a week to a month after payment. Privacy/NDA Requests:
I may post works in progress of the art on my socials or stream it the development on my Twitch channel during the commission process. If the client is not comfortable with me doing this, they MUST claim a privacy request in their inquiry form.The privacy request entails that I am not allowed to post or stream any work relating to the client's commission, including the finished piece. The client reserves the ability to either let me know at a point in time that they are now comfortable with me making their commission public, or that they wish to keep the commission fully private. Either way, I as the artist will fully respect the client's privacy wishes.The client's username will still be visible on my public waitlist for ease of management, but if they are not comfortable with this they must let me know along with the NDA request.I may ask the client if I am allowed to include the art in my portfolios for work (not public), which they are allowed to accept or decline as they wish.
Usage Rights:
Clients are granted exclusive rights for personal use of the work produced as agreed upon, which must not be transferred to any other parties. Personal use includes: social media posts, profile pictures, layouts, themes, wallpapers, website displays, physical prints, and physical items, that are not for sale or distribution to any other party.I retain the original copyright and ownership of the work, which includes but may not be limited to redistributing, reproducing, advertising, displaying the work in my websites, social media and portfolios according to my discretion. I have rights to repurpose unused work for future projects, personal or otherwise.For designs, I retain the original copyright and ownership of the design and the original commissioned work. The client is free to use the design in any art, models, or any other projects they see fit as long as credit is given where necessary. The client is prohibited from selling the design or distributing it to any other party. Under no circumstances is the client allowed to edit the design in any way without explicit permission.The client is NOT allowed to crop (without permission), edit or trace any artwork. I can make small edits for free or provide other versions of the artwork afterward. For anything major, I may decline or charge a fee.
